Our Policies

All fees for services rendered are expected at time of services. We accept cash, Visa, MC and Discover. We must receive payment the day of service to reconcile our bookkeeping.

**All Gift Certificate sales are FINAL**

Returns
Any retail bought can be returned within 2 weeks of purchase.

Animals
For the safety and comfort of all our clients, we ask that you refrain from bringing animals into the salon. We at La Bella Vita are animal lovers; however, some of our clients may not be. In addition, many people are allergic to animals, and most importantly, it is against the DE State Board of Cosmetology to bring animals, with the exception of working animals, in to the salon. We appreciate your understanding.

Children
For their safety, children are not allowed in any service area unless they are having a service in the salon. Children and babies in strollers are not allowed in any service area while a parent, friend or sibling etc…is receiving a service. Please make arrangements for small children if you plan to be in the salon for an extended period of time. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

Booking Deposits, Cancellations & No Shows

When you schedule an appointment at La Bella Vita Salon & Day Spa, the time allocated for your appointment is reserved for you.

New clients (with services totaling Esthetic $50+ and Hair Stylist/Nail Technician $75+) and/or extensive appointments will require a 25% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.

The non-refundable deposit is not an extra charge and is held on account for you. 

***This deposit will be used towards your services at the time of your appointment. ***

A booking cancellation can be made anytime, however the deposit paid is non-refundable. If for any reason you cannot attend your appointment, 48 hours notice is required to reschedule. 

***If 48 hours notice has not been given your deposit will be charged as a missed appointment fee and another deposit will be required to reschedule. ***

ALL DEPOSITS ARE STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE

If you fail to attend your appointment and/or late for your scheduled appointment, your deposit will be forfeited and another deposit will be required to reschedule.

Please understand our server providers are paid on a commission basis and when their chair left empty they are not being paid. 

Cell Phones
Turning cell phones off or to silent mode while in the salon are appreciated.
In consideration of others, we ask that you refrain from talking on your cell phone inside the salon.

Arriving for Appointments
We encourage all of our clients to arrive at least 15 minutes early for their appointments to allow time to unwind and have a beverage before your service. Starting your appointment on time allows you to receive a relaxing, leisurely service. We cannot guarantee that all services will be completed for late arrivals.

No Show Policy

1st Time No Show — No worries….we all get busy and forget

2nd Time No Show — 50% Non-refundable deposit due. We are sorry that you missed your appointment….as a favor we’ll only charge you half.

3rd Time No Show — 100% Non-refundable deposit due. We missed you! But our service providers did not get the chance to do what they do best.

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, clients that are on the waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services and your service provider does not get paid. Our appointments are confirmed 96hrs, 72 hrs, & 48hrs in advance via text message (or a phone call if you choose not to receive text messages), because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago., Since the services are reserved for you personally, a No Show fee will apply.

As a courtesy if you do not respond to one (1) of our three (3) text reminders, we will call you 48hrs prior to your appointment date. However if you do not confirm your appointment by 5:00pm on the day of the reminder phone call we will cancel your appointment.

All services require a 48hr minimum notice to cancel. Anything less than that and/or the day of will be considered a No Show.

Choosing a Staff Member
If you feel another staff member would better serve you, please don’t hesitate to let us know. We are a team of professionals and we encourage you try the work of all our specialists.
